to know is that any non zip/rar type compressed file may come
"streaming"
The best playback method for all media isn't "streaming"
It's convenient, but can be a disaster just as equally. The
Fool-proof way is as follows below

Right mouse click on the link & Choose "Save Target
As (or something similar)
make note of the location you are saving the file to .
The Desktop is a good place and the default one.
Now play it by double-clicking on the file you have just downloaded
